Breathwork
Learn moreYour nervous system is running the show — and most of us haven’t checked in with it in years. Optimism Breathwork is a free, standing weekly practice: 15 minutes every Monday on Zoom, led by Darren Obong, designed to reset, refocus, and return you to yourself before the week gets away from you. Sign up and you’ll also receive a free 7-day email course — five minutes a day of science-grounded breathwork basics, built around techniques studied at institutions like Stanford Medicine, the NIH, and the Mayo Clinic. No experience needed, no equipment, no performance. Just a reliable weekly ritual that treats your nervous system as the foundation it actually is. Optimism Breathwork launches soon. Well-being begins with Optimism — and sometimes, it begins with a single breath.

Optimism California Triathlon
Learn moreDateLive EventLocationCulpeper, VAThe Optimsim Cal Tri Series is a national multisport race series that brings triathlon — swim, bike, run — to accessible, welcoming venues across the country, with events ranging from Sprint and Olympic distances to SwimRun, RunBikeRun, and 5Ks.
Think of it less as a race and more as a recurring invitation: to show up, move your body, and find yourself surrounded by people who take well-being seriously enough to do something about it. With free youth racing at most events and a format designed to meet athletes wherever they are — first-timers and seasoned competitors alike — Cal Tri embodies exactly what Optimism Live is built around: the idea that well-being isn’t something you just read about. It’s something you train for, line up for, and finish alongside other people. That’s where it becomes real.
Sign up for our next races in Culpeper, VA, on April 26th, and Ventura, CA, on May 3rd.
